Innovation and Experimentation done by teachers.
Innovations and Projects undertaken by the Principal :
1. Academics : To improve standard of academics, all teachers in the Vidyalaya have been trained in the use of smart-board. With this all teachers are pre-planned with their lessons with assessment tools for every period. The duration to complete a lesson is scheduled with the given number of periods and each period is well planned, making every period of the class meaningful for both students and teachers. This enables timely completion of assessment, evaluation, correction of notebook etc.
2. In the Primary classes the tearing of papers / pages of notebooks by students is totally stopped. The waste paper generated in the Vidyalaya is re-cycled in the Biology lab, by the lab attendant, Mr. Sudhakar. The models and articles prepared by re-cycled paper are used in various ways by teachers and students. The papers are dyed using vegetable dyes. Thus, the project is eco-friendly too. It is good learning and value added to students where they learnt to make best of waste. The Primary Section teachers are also trained in re-cycling papers and lot of TLM are prepared by them.
3. Innovative Experiments ; The waste both organic and inorganic generated in the Vidyalaya is managed in the Vidyalaya itself. The organic waste along with the dry leaves in the campus is utilized for preparing vermi-compost. The manure prepared has been utilized in the garden of the Viydalaya. As there are 4 vermi-compost pits made, lot of manure can be generated, which can be utilized in future to generate revenue also.
4. Two patches of land in the campus have been utilized to develop garden of medicinal plants. These plants have been named and the medicinal uses of these plants recorded on flex-boards displayed in the garden.
5. The students of the Vidyalaya have taken up a project to save electric energy with the help and support of Tata Power and Energy Co. The Company is prepared to install Solar panels in the Vidyalaya building if the progress of the project is good.
6. The PE (TGT), Mr. Pandekar, has been guided on a project to encourage students to play and maintain good health with proper eating habits and disciplined routine. This would help students realize the importance of physical exercise and healthy eating habits.
7. The students are encouraged for good conduct and good reading habits by giving incentives once in a month, in the morning assembly as Best Child of the Month for each section of the class and Best Reader of the Month to students who read five or more books in a month.
