Important Milestones of Growth

1)         Class XI Science introduced in the year 1988.
2)         The School shifted to the new and present campus in the year 1989.
3)         Commerce stream introduced in the year 1992.
4)         Vocational Stream -FMM introduced in 2006 & then discontinued  w.e.f. 2010-2011.

5)         Humanities stream  introduced w.e.f. 2011-2012.

Gradual Year Wise Expansion in Classes and Sections Leading to

Present Status :

1)         One additional section to all classes introduced in 1989, i.e. from 3 sections to 4 sections in the primary section and thereafter one section added to next higher class, every year.

2)         One additional section added to XI Science and Commerce in the year 2007. The

first batch of XII vocational stream in the year 2009.

 3)        One section from each of classes I to  classes V withdrawn w.e.f. 2011-2012.

1)         Previous campus - Sasoon Dock .

2)         New Campus - Near INS Kunjali.

OUR MISSION

KVS has a fourfold mission viz :

1)                To cater to the educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including defence and para military personnel by providing a common programme of education.

2)         To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.

3)         To initiate and promote experimentations and innovations in education in

            Collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT, etc.

4)         To develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of “Indianness”

among children.
